88 and still rocking

Mid-winter on the highveld, and a celebration as the sun sets at our parents’ place.

Peter Rushforth was born in Grahamstown in 1923.

Flew during WW 2 where he met our gran in Egypt.

Had three amazing children: Jane, John and Patrick.

So his grandkids, daughter, niece and second cousins gathered to celebrate.

A dentist by profession.

And a great golfer with two “hole-in-ones” to his name.

And we toasted those who are far away but joined us via phone.

And those who were watching from afar.
