It started as a normal afternoon game drive.
Red and gold across the winter’s dry veld.
Finding this beautiful herd of rhinos….
They ambled down to the water for their evening bath. We watched from afar….
As they watched the wildebeest.
And as they left, something strange floated ahead…
SANParks (South African National Parks) has asked people not to geotag photos of rhinos, as poachers are using the web to track their victims. This was somewhere in the deep veld wilderness that is our beautiful country.
